Arguments.

Arguments. Definitely not something I enjoy partaking in, or even watching to be honest. I feel like arguments have such a strong negative vibe and they tend to bring out the worst in people. Arguments can make people say or do things that, when in their normal state of mind, they would be ashamed to do.

But then, arguments do have their positive sides. You must be thinking, say what? What I mean is that although they have strong negative connotations, they can also bring out some good. For example, if you argue with someone you care about, you get fueled to say your mind concerning the issue at hand, as well as anything else that has been bothering your mind - that you had been trying to suppress - and let's be honest, suppressed displeasures don't just disappear. So that argument will give you and the other person a chance to iron out all issues - possibly making for a better relationship, if handled well.

My favorite book has this quote - "If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men", which to me clarifies that a disagreement between people is a physiological process; it's part of life. Otherwise the very important clauses - "if it is possible, as long as it depends on you" - wouldn't have been inserted!

The memo here is to try your best to live at peace with everyone, it makes for  a simpler, peaceful life.
